This video that I am posting the link for is old and for some, played out. But as for me, I can't get enough of it. Since there is a shot of cupcakes in the clip I figured it was relevant enough to post it. Try not to laugh.

Ruffles! I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am that my favorite frilly detail is a huge part of this fall season. I am a little obsessed with these shoes for three reasons. 1. This color pink is too much fun, 2. The ruffle reminds me of a cupcake wrapper, and 3. Shoe Mohawk. There you have it!

Cheer Up!

One of my favorite (of the very few) tee shirts that I own is a small turquoise shirt with the words cheer up on the front. Whenever I am feeling moody, sad, or have a case of the "Mean Reds"(Thanks Holly Golightly), my lovely boyfriend suggests that I go put it on in hopes that it will automatically change my disposition. Well it's a rainy and gloomy day here and I woke up with a tiny headache, my shirt is being washed so instead, I was hoping to share some cute cupcakes that I created for a pig roast last week. If anyone else is having a gloomy day as well, I hope that these will brighten up your day a tad.

Last night, September 10th, was the first ever Global Fashion's Night Out. This was an event that happened in all big cities AROUND THE WORLD, dedicated to the world of fashion and each devoted follower. Last night while I was heading home after a long day at work in Elmira, Manhattan, my home just a few months ago, was bursting with all the very top name designers, models, and amazing stores throwing parties overflowing with champagne and probably adorned with cute and delicious cupcakes! Needless to say, Anna Wintour is a genius because I'm sure her idea of FNO brought out more shoppers than Black Friday. Hello, economy boost. So as an ode to Fashion's Night Out, Cuppity Cake is showing you some favorite "Designer Cupcakes", to make up for my absence!

The September issue of Vogue that we received in the mail a couple weeks ago has no issue of missing any of the Fall's biggest trends. Within the 580 something pages, i fell in love with the chunkly over exaggerated statement necklaces. Some of my favorites include, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, and Lanvin.

I graduated in may from fashion school in Manhattan. I came home looking to have a nice easy and relaxing summer at home since i thought that these past three months would be my only time off in a long time. Here we are in September and I'm still on the hunt. But to keep my sanity I have been creating some fun cakes for my family and keeping myself busy. my grandmothers birthday is today (Happy Birthday Grammy!) so I decided to make her a cute little girly cake which totally fits her 100%.
Welcome!
